Monthly Featured Member

Each month, at the WBE Breakfast, a Member is chosen from a drawing to be the next month's Featured Member. Our featured member for September 2007 was:

Liesl Mordhorst
Alpine Mortgage Services, Inc.

Phone: 206-529-3331
Cell: 206-683-2382
E-mail: liesl@alpinemtg.com

Liesl is a home financing professional and has been with the locally owned Alpine Mortgage Services for 11 years. She has been involved in all aspects of the mortgage industry for the past 15 years – from banker to broker to processor, including all aspects of back office loan production to escrow closer and now Banker/Broker. Her expertise lies in matching the home purchaser/owner to the right loan vehicle and managing the loan process to minimize the stress inherent in the transaction while focusing on consistent, timely closings.

Additionally, Liesl maintains her Limited Practice Officer license and Notary Seal and is very knowledgeable in aspects of title and escrow.

In her not so spare time, Liesl is an avid, international sail boat racer and is the Moderator/Administrator for the non-profit musical performing arts group Bells of the Sound. Bells of the Sound is gaining national recognition for their lively, "not-your-usual-church-hand-bell-group" performances and their contributions to the art and literature of hand bells through workshops and competitions.

Other interests include travel, softball, volleyball, hiking and rock climbing. Family, though not geographically near, is near and dear to her heart. Given the opportunity, she will drop everything to smooch her two sweet nephews, Aedan and Kyle (aged 4 and 2). None have known grass to grow under her feet.

If you know of anyone who is interested in purchasing a home, consolidating debt, evaluating the place of their home in their financial plan or just getting honest answers to home finance questions, please send them to Liesl Mordhorst, Alpine Mortgage.
