Victoria Likes is a freelance writer, author, and owner of FeatherWrite, a strategic business development and marketing company that provides businesses with the communications they need to make an impact in the marketplace. FeatherWrite helps businesses tell (and sell) their stories, and present their products and services to customers in an authentic and compelling way by providing creative concepts and brand-focused writing for websites, brochures, collateral, advertising, and editorial and promotional communications. Victoria believes that businesses are a reflection of their leaders and, like people, have their own unique fingerprint which has enduring value. FeatherWrite is named after her philosophy that the right word, with the right touch makes the difference between just being there — or soaring.

Victoria's background in marketing, advertising, and writing spans more than 25 years and includes work for leading publications and publishers, the production industry, local businesses, and fortune 500 companies in the B-to-B and consumer markets. She's excelled in a variety of roles through the years — from creative concept development, advertising, branding, marketing, scriptwriting and copywriting, to strategic business planning, and public relations. She's a talented and experienced business professional with a strong creative side. Her work has been on bookshelves and television, in educational videos and products, and in publications such as the Seattle Times, Seattle Business Monthly, Create Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Media Inc Magazine, and others. She brings a broad range of experience, exceptional talent, and a fresh and original perspective to her work. Her ability to understand and embrace business needs, and her creative vision has positioned her as a reliable and strategic writing, public relations and marketing resource for organizations throughout the Northwest.

Victoria holds a B.A. in Communications and Advertising from the University of Washington. She is the author of "Whisper From the Woods", a children's book published in 1991 with Simon & Schuster which won the National Parent's Choice Award, and sold internationally. During 2001-2002 she served as a contributing writer to the Seattle Times, providing a biweekly column on Seattle's unemployment scene. These lively and popular columns landed her in a feature story which aired nationally on CNBC. In 2006, Victoria's work for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance won the prestigious ADDY AWARD for Best Regional TV Campaign of the year.

Victoria founded FeatherWrite in 2002 with the belief that the future of our planet lies in our ability to communicate to others clearly, in a meaningful way. She continually welcomes the challenge of new opportunities, and considers herself fortunate to have the chance to work with some of the best and most inspiring individuals and companies in the Northwest. You can reach her by email at vlikes@featherwrite.com or by phone at 206-499-1004.
