Renewing the Spirit of Your Environment

As a landscape designer, my design philosophy is to incorporate the dreams and visions of my clients with the needs of their property in creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor places that promote harmony between the environment and my clients throughout the seasons. I listen well and am attentive to the needs of each client in creating a personalized outdoor place that fits their lifestyle.

Sustainability is a major consideration of each design as I meld the dreams and visions of my clients with the needs of the land to create a partnership that promotes harmony. It is this partnership that allows us to connect with the ‘spirit of place’ and, in doing so, brings us into harmony with the planet. I recognize and value a harmonious environment and bring that harmony to each of my designs.

I have served the Greater Seattle Area with sustainable landscape design and horticultural consulting for over thirteen years. I have a degree in landscape design and am a Certified Professional Horticulturist. This background, together with my experience and passion for sustainability, gives me the ability to design beautiful gardens that my clients can manage themselves. I educate and empower my clients in methods that make a positive difference in their gardens, their community and the planet as a whole.

Design services include master planning, conceptual planning, planting and lighting schemes and simple construction drawings. Project management services include contractor referral and bid analysis, execution consulting and plant layout.
