Liz Latham

Seattle Cleaning Service

Lizard Productions

I have been an active member of WBE for over two years now and always look forward to attending the monthly meetings. This year, I’m really enjoying its smaller business group B.I.G. and highly recommend it! The friendships I’ve made with women in this wonderful network has grown to be too long of a list to mention here. I love to introduce new people to WBE and encourage them to join, which they usually do after a couple meetings of being inspired by all the great energy of the members: individually and as a whole.

My experience as an executive assistant in Fortune 500, government, and non-profit companies, spanning over fifteen years, has been very helpful in guiding me in the operation of my company, Seattle Cleaning Service, specializing in a Green Method approach to residential and small office cleaning. Over the past five years, all of my accumulated valuable knowledge has helped us grow and develop into the successful business it is today. For more information about us, please visit http://www.seattlecleaningservice.com.

My college degree in Radio, Television, and Film prepared me for a career in filmmaking, which is my true greatest professional passion. Many of you know I have a film in post-production entitled “Remember His Name,” an educational documentary about how the sadistic murder of an African-American named James Byrd, Jr. in Jasper, Texas opened the eyes of the legislature in that state to hate crimes. The film follows the passage of the James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Act in Texas and will include a supplemental curriculum guide to raise much needed awareness of tolerance, compassion, and altruism. My vision is for the film to be an essential teaching tool in every middle and high school, accessible in every public library, as well as being shown in film festivals around the world. If you are interested in learning more about this important project, please visit www.lizardproductions.com.

My company, Lizard Productions, is always busy creating new projects for clients on both a personal and professional level. One of the services we provide businesses is voice-over for either a video project or for their out-going phone message We also are able to record the contents of web site pages to offer the option of watching and listening to the text, which makes a more direct connection and personal impact than simply reading it on-line. Another powerful marketing tool we produce is putting you on film to promote yourself and your business, which is much more cost effective than advertising on television and gives you a greater amount of time to get your messages across. With our high-definition equipment and editing suite in our film studio, we are able to effectively capture everything you want to communicate and allows you to express it in a personalize manner with state-of-the-art technology, enabling us to provide you with a very high quality product.

Our latest creative development, which I am extremely excited about, is producing high-definition videos that tell life stories. These are an extraordinary and touching way to personalize the recording of an individual’s, a couple’s, and a family’s history of events. We begin by listening to your story, then collect your personal photos, slides, and parts of home movies you’d like included. We write scripts, produce titles, add voice-over, include music, and use some special effects, all of which enhance your film and make your story uniquely yours. These highly received videos are a wonderful way to honor elder family members, to communicate messages and wisdom gained, and provide a meaningful legacy of cherished and important memories to pass down from generation-to-generation. They also make the perfect gift, either in the finished form or as a gift-certificate. Whether it’s a life story or to record the celebration of birthdays, anniversaries, births, weddings, and other special events, Lizard Productions is committed to creating a film you will want to watch over and over again for all the ways it deeply touches your heart and soul.

Please call Liz Latham at (206) 782-8220 to schedule an appointment to discuss your video needs.
