Networker of the Year

The Networker of the Year award is given to women who are outstanding networkers. Through their leadership and example, they serve as role models for us, actively networking for themselves and others, in WBE, the community and beyond.

Chris Estes

Chris Estes has been a member of WBE for over five years and treasures the ongoing experience for many reasons. The new friends and connections, the welcoming smiles (and sometimes hugs at the perfect time), and the inspiration from the excellent speakers. There is always some part of exactly what she needs on those Thursday mornings.

Chris is affiliated with Windermere Real Estate and her business by referral takes her throughout Seattle and the Eastside. One of the joys of being part of WBE is the focus on giving first. And Chris' business runs on that philosophy as well. Connections to vendors, hosting classes, sharing good information. Doing the right thing for others first is the best way to have a good life.

Buying and/or selling a home can be an exciting, confusing, exhilarating, frustrating, sometimes easy and sometimes complex adventure. Chris' commitment is to be your primary resource in navigating the process and getting to your final goal. Service is at the core of everything that she does. It surprises some people when Chris tells them that she started her real estate business not because she likes houses. Yes, of course, she enjoys seeing lovely homes as much as the next person. But that love of houses and design wasn't what beckoned her. She was after a business where the relationships that she builds with both clients and the other vendors that serve them too – not the individual transactions – are the attraction. And the cornerstone of everything that she does.
