Breakfast Speakers
Each month at the WBE Breakfast we have an inspirational speaker. Thank you to all of our speakers! Our speaker for April 2008 was:
 Assunta Ng
Insights of a Newspaper Publisher on Passion, Leadership and Networking
Gutsy and tenacious, empathetic and an intuitive listener all describe Assunta Ng. After moving to the U.S. from Hong Kong at age 18, she put herself through college – earning both B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Washington. More than 25 years ago, she founded the Northwest Asian Weekly and Seattle Chinese Post, providing a voice and a forum for the Asian communities throughout the Northwest. She has served on the boards of many non-profit organizations and has founded two non-profits: the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation and Women of Color Empowered.
Assunta personifies the power of authenticity and living with focus and determination. On April 10th she will share what she has learned about the roles that passion, leadership, and networking play in being successful, and inspire you to re-tune your focus in these areas of your life.
