New Year, New Story: the Power of Story to Change Your Life and Your Career
We are the stories of our lives. Through events that shape us and people that impact us, our experiences will play over and over again in our minds throughout the course of our lives. One theme or event will play more prominently than others, and become a life-defining moment. Do you know which event it was for you?
On January 8th, internationally-renowned author and educator Christina Baldwin brings her perspective on the power of story to show how each of us has a narrative that has shaped us into who we are today, and by understanding that narrative, we can change it and create a new story for who we want to be tomorrow. The story that we tell ourselves starts us down a path that becomes familiar and comfortable, or challenging and groundbreaking. When we change our story, we change our life path.
Christina Baldwin has been helping women to tell their stories for more than thirty years. The author of five books, she pioneered the journal writing movement in the 70's and has since presented her ideas around the world. We invite you to join us in January for an exciting and entertaining event with Christina, and start a new story for the new year.
