Breakfast Speakers
Each month at the WBE Breakfast we have an inspirational speaker. Thank you to all of our speakers! Our speaker for July 2009 was:
"Creating a Strategy for Your Success” According to Lisa, the path to business and career success takes more than just brains and elbow grease. In spite of doing everything right: graduation with honors from college, finding the right employer, a job with career potential and working hard, Lisa found herself going nowhere fast. Underutilized, underpaid and without a career strategy, Lisa felt powerless over her own future. But all of that changed when she decided to take action. By applying her knowledge of how products are marketed Lisa developed a plan to assess, modify and market herself in order to achieve the job of her dreams. From customer service representative to product manager to director to vice president, Lisa stair stepped her way to her aspirations. And along the way she documented a fail-proof process that has helped countless women accomplish their own career dreams. It wasn’t long before Lisa’s process became a book which established the foundation for a successful consulting and speaking business. Today, Lisa’s career and business is thriving. She owns her destiny, and she invites you to share the same happy future. Lisa believes that the choice is yours. You can accept what life hands you, or you can manage your career, your way. So if your career or business isn’t working for you, this is an event you can’t afford to miss.
