Breakfast Speakers
Each month at the WBE Breakfast we have an inspirational speaker. Thank you to all of our speakers! Our speaker for October 2009 was:
Your Leadership Voice: Leading Your Business with Confidence and Clarity
When Libby Wagner talks about how you can become more successful by building confidence and finding your leadership voice, she speaks from experience. With a background in Fine Arts, a published book of poems, and a 20-year career as a tenured college professor, Libby’s decision in 2005 to live courageously and start a consulting firm left her feeling fearful and far outside of her comfort zone. Recognizing that her confidence and self-esteem played an important role in her impact on others and her ability to thrive, Libby began a habit of looking inward to spot and then curtail potentially self-sabotaging behaviors. Four years later, those talents, experience and techniques form the basis of an internationally-acclaimed consulting business that teaches business professionals useful and pragmatic solutions to help them achieve the work and life they dream of and deserve. From college classroom to boardroom, Libby has worked with thousands of people around the world. The constant thread throughout is her passion for helping others define a vision and create a roadmap to realize it. While this may look completely unique for each and every person, Libby tells us there are common denominators to be found! Join us on Oct.8th as Libby shares how you can achieve more clarity and step up to and into your confidence zone. Biographical Information on Libby Wagner Libby Wagner, president of Libby Wagner & Associates, is one of the few poets regularly welcomed into the boardroom. Libby holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Eastern Washington University and lives in Seattle. Web Address: www.libbywagner.com |
